This year was full of surprises when I went in search of Old Vines and met 7 of the 11 CORPINNAT Sparkling Wine producers. Personal attention to each square meter of land, leaders in biodynamic and organic viticulture practices and celebrating year 3 of the new EU Brand historic family of wineries CORPINNAT in Penedès/Barcelona. The Bubbly from these brands are gems and jewels of the year. Aged in the family estate cellar, traditional method in the bottle, and up to 5 years and more on the lees. The COPRINNAT historic family of wineries offer a premium selection of sparkling wines that are distinguished by a light complexity of flavors, refined aromas, and an elegant blush of effervescence.
CAVA— Bubbly | Spain
The Women of CAVA, CAVA WOMEN, came together to step out into the spotlight of Spain's CAVA bubbly industry. I went to meet some of these fabulous women and hope to meet all of them in 2o22 as I continue my journey to learn about all things Sparkling Wine and Bubbly.
I attended this event which was the launch of the association/organization, CAVA WOMEN, under the umbrella of Confraria del Cava at CAVATAST 2o21 2OCT2o21 in Penedès. I took this photo at the end of the evening and this dynamic group of women are women to watch, meet and learn from. To keep with the spirit of the CRYSTAL FLUTE AWARDS—Bubbly certified w/Glitz & Glam Personality —this year's theme—everyone donned sunglasses and struck a pose! Fabulous!
